180 degrees

180 Degrees is a typographic collection of different texts about the local food culture in Israel. The lead article divides the book into three chapters according to the chronological timeline, starting in the 1930's, and running through to the present. Incorporated in each chapter are assembled texts relating to the main idea of the chapter.

Working on this book included textual research, assembling various texts, and developing the visual language to tell the chronological local story. The design is based on the collaboration of old and new aesthetics, content-related infographics, and storytelling.
