settlers' kit
The Settlers' Kit is a package design and visual language development project. The kit is a collection of five relevant products for the everyday use of settlers in the Negev from the early1930's in Israel, under the agenda of settling the Israeli desert prior to the Declaration of Independence in 1948.
The kit is designed around the 1930's local visual language, alongside creative textual copies to brand the kit. The modular bag opens into a working surface in the desert, and features a hat to protect from the sun, a water bottle to keep hydrated, a current map of the area, transistor to keep energy high, and a package of orzo to feed the body and the soul.
